Planning

Structure your whole story

The Planning board lays out every chapter side by side in a horizontal kanban. Each chapter holds scene cards with summaries, POV assignments, and draft status — your complete story architecture at a glance.

Your story bible, always open

Click any Archivum entry to expand its full tile — character profile, biography, relationships, and a mention timeline. Dr. John Watson's card is open here, showing his role and description without leaving the Planning board.

Write

A distraction-free manuscript editor

The Write view puts your prose front and centre. The Archivum sidebar stays open alongside, showing your full cast and locations as you write. The scene panel on the right tracks POV, word count, and draft status.

Write

Scenes lock during active proofing passes

When a scene enters the proofing workflow, it locks in the Write view to prevent conflicting changes. A banner directs you straight to the Proofing session to continue work safely.

Proofing

Scene Diagnostics — deep craft analysis

The Diagnostics tab gives a scored breakdown of your prose across Style, Dialogue, Conciseness, Pacing and more. Each flagged issue comes with a focused edit panel explaining the suggestion and letting you save the revised paragraph directly.

Privacy Mode — offline, no AI

Mythwrite Proofing can run entirely in your browser with no external calls. Privacy Mode uses the built-in engine with your preferred quote style, language, and Archivum Lexicon — your manuscript text never leaves your machine.
